I called a mustang shop about there 5 lug swap. and they told me the only wheels I could chose where pretty much the same as a 4 lug. Why pay the $400 extra for the same wheels?

There are a few wheels available in 5 lug that you cannot get in 4 lug, plus the upside is better brakes by converting, unless you want to spend the change for a baer 4 lug setup. But why???

There's always the old method of using parts from a Ranger/Aerostar to convert a Fox car to five-lug wheels.

For the front and rear to convert to five lugs, you need parts from any '83 to '95 Ford Aerostar, Ranger, or Bronco II.
The best way to do this is to go any local parts store and get the stuff for the front new. You'll need to get new rotors, a dust cap, and new Fox mustang wheel bearings. The Aerostar/Ranger/Bronco II (ARB) wheel bearings have the same OD as the Mustang bearings, but a smaller ID. The Mustang bearings will fit perfectly in the ARB rotors. You stock Fox Calipers will bolt right on, you don't have to do anythig to them except put some new pads on them to go with the new rotors.
For the rear, you'll need two driver's side axles from any '83 - '95 Aerostar/Ranger/Bronco II. Then you'll need to visit the local parts store and get two new 9-inch drums for any '83-'95 ARB. Then it's just a matter of swapping the five lug axles for the four-lugs in your Mustang's rear, bolting on the five-lug drums, and you're good to go.
This swap was covered in the November '05 and December '05 issues of Car Craft in the Junkyard Crawl section. If you want, send me your mailing address, I'll photo copy the stories and send them to you.

I don't know who's working at the shop you called, but they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground because you've got a ton of wheels to choose from..... but which wheels you can choose from relies on the year of spindles you chose to go with for your 5-bolt upgrade.
If you're like me, and are going with the 94-95 Mustang spindles, they will keep your track width the same as what you've got with your 4-bolt setup right now. You'll be able to use any wheel design made for 94-04 Stangs (personally, I've got a set of 2003 Bullitts for my car).
If you're going with the 96-04 spindles for your swap, you're going to have different options though. The 96-04 Mustang spindles will increase your track width, and the backspacing used on the 94-04 wheels isn't going to work for you..... HOWEVER, because 05+ wheels have more backspacing and use the same bolt pattern, you can use any wheels used for 05+ Stangs. In order to do this and make these wheels work with the back end, you'll just have to get some wheel spacers and you're home free.
Just be sure to keep your stock 79-93 front A-arms for the swap though, because the 96-04 Stang A-arms can be swapped on to our cars, but they will increase your track width and that's just a whole other pain in the butt
