Does anyone know about a 95 Mustang GTS? It is supposed to be a replacement for the fox body's LX edition. any help?

edmounds.com says it's basically a GT in a plain shell. I guess they wanted to have some undercover sleeper thing. It was just a 95 thing only.

The gts was a cheap GT with 6 Cylinder interior(cloth)etc.It had the GT 5.0 drivetrain.It may have been offered in 94 also,not sure.Hope this helps.

all i know is cloth interior, non power windows and such.and no wing or spoiler. i'm told leather is heavier i would prefer cloth anyhow but i have leather life is ***

haha i have a 95 gts....its just a plain plain plain plain ass gt...no power anything..just cruise..no fog lights like the gt...but its a lil lighter.(no spoiler etc...) lol but its not bad...

The GTS was only available in 1995 and as a base model it was a no frills GT (cloth seats, no spoiler etc). With no options added it did have a lower weight than the GT. Perhaps the most unique thing about the GTS however, was the number of options available.
My GTS for example does have the spoiler and has power everything. It also has several extra Ford emblems and pin striping. It does have the cloth seats (which I like). It would probably be harder to find two GTSs which were exactly alike than for any other year because of all the options that were available.

i also own a 95 gts. i did have a spoiler and as previously mentioned, is a bare boned version of the gt with a v-6 interior. mine doesnt have power anything. no cruise control. not even a rear window defroster. it does have a/c however. the design idea behind it all was to make a a lighter gt with a 302 for the more race driven drivers. it quickly died in 95 and no others have been built since.

I have a GTS and its a great car car. stainless steel buttons. rear defrost. 17 inch wheels. rear spoiler. 302 5.0. cold air intake. leather and power every thing they shouldnt be talked down. i havent seen a better lookin late 90's mustang.
