I would like to get my 89' mustang GT into the low to mid 9 second range with a stock block & a t-76mm turbo kit from Hellion Power Sysems. I plan on bullit profing the bottom end with a forged stroker crank (347ci), rods ,pistons & main support.I need to know if the stock block can handle that kind of power even with the forged stroker parts. The car will also be driven to work 2-3 days a week. Also, How much horsepower & torqe would it take to get to the low to mid 9's.I'd really appreciate the advice.

You are certainly reaching, bro. It takes ALOT to put a ANY car into the 9's. AND a 76mm turbo kit AIN't gonna do it for your '89 Pony. Well, maybe NOT. It all depends on several different factors. You said it would be driven 2-3 days per week. Is this a commute or just a cruise? To reach the 9's, you are gonna need gears like 4.10's or 4.56's, which will wreak havoc on any tranny driven around town. Also, the stock block WILL NOT HANDLE the power needed to get into the 9's (maybe once, then it will blow up.) You need a new race prepped block. AND A WHOLE LOT MORE. AND ALOT of $$$$$$$$$. Peace
