Looking to put a cam in my 98GT, i want the lope of a dragster, but still use as a daily driver...which do i go with?

Your '98 GT will never sound like a dragster, but a pair of aftermarket cams, ported heads, and a nice exhaust will go a long way in making it sound more muscular. A variety of places have head swap kits available like Parkway Ford, Blow-By Racing, etc.

thanks, but what i mean is that real lopey sound... i plan to run Mac off-road h-pipe with the Mac cat-back..

Do the cams with some ported heads, and you will get the sound you desire. If it were me, I would do a PI head conversion with ported heads and cams. That will give your GT a nice boost.
