Hi I am new here!!! Does anyone know why it is so hard to find 5.0 fox body engine mounts??? I have ordered them and I have ended up with two configureations niether fits!!! Am I describing it wrong?, I am at the install stage of my 4 to 8 cyl swap ,with a 5.0 with a .030 bore kieth black pistons,t-5 , and 373 pozi rearend from a t-top gt I should be one hottie that will be hard to catchLOL!!!! Any tips would be great , I am putting single wire coil distributor and carb conversion Shar-the Naughty Pony Girl

Which K-member are you using? According to this chart, 84-95 Mustangs use the same motor mounts.

Here is the simple answer I cot to this question from someone whos been around... go to the local carquest & get 5.0 convertible mounts, whatever year of the era- there all the same (I think I got 86 ones) they are different left or right & will look different than the regular coupe/hatch ones-dont worry they'll install with little to no mods- mine needed an index pin hole slotted, which was 30 seconds w/ a die grinder. these mounts are much stronger & will hold plenty of power for along time. this design is what the energy mounts copy & these are about 50 / pr.

Sorry, but I don't know why you are having a problem with this. I just went to O'Reiley's auto parts and they had them in stock for both driver and passenger side, and for gt/lx and convertible. I think the convertible ones are stronger and will give you more clearance if you have headers to put on.
