Say you just bought an 86-93 Fox. Lx or GT what is the order you would starting adding mods to it? Assuming everything runs correctly.

And the plan is to have it running low to high 11s with more potential.

First thing you shoudl do is bolt in a set of subframe connectors. Stiffen the chassis for better handling, rigidity, the ability to take enough power to put the car in the 11s without tweaking the chassis.
While you're doing this, if you can afford it, find a junkyard '87-'95 roller motor and start building an upgraded powerplant for your Fox. That way you can still drive and enjoy it while you make improvements.

while you are under the car, if you are looking to get low 11's, better do your upper an lower control arms,a drag pack kit, gears an some good rubber. Stopping becomes an issue at these speeds to if driving on the street! My motto is start from the bottom an work your way up on the project. Good luck!
