hey guys im new here,I just got a 91 mustang and I noticed when I push on the brake I here a thumping in the rear could it be brakes,or maybe the hatch?thank.

it might be the hatch lacth. mine went bad and i cant find a replacement for it anywhere. when the hatch is closed, try and pull up on it and see if it opens. mine pops and bounces when i hit a bump or turn or pretty much anything
