hi guys, i have a 1999 mustang (the 35 year annv. edition) automatic transmition and when i try to start the car the engine sometimes hezates to start. there is an aftermarket alarm system on it that has remote start and connects into the engine aswell. what do u think my problem is guys?

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

Next time, turn the key on, but let count to 30 before starting the car. See if that makes a difference.  

i just bought the car so iam not sure when the last time the fuel filter was changed. i went to autozone today and they said it was the battery. im gonna go back to autozone tomorrow and ask them about a fuel filter aswell

I have a 2001 Mustang Bullitt and a friend of mine has a 2002 Mustang GT automatic and we both had the same problem.  We found out that there was a issue with the factory fuel pump and had to get new ones installed to correct the issue.  This should fix the problem.  It fixed ours.
