A lot of boards like (or including) yours have been asking questions about the MotorSilk product line recently—here are a few quick facts. MotorSilk is a one-time engine oil treatment distributed nationally by Green Lubrication Solutions. It increases gas mileage up to 20 percent (depending on engine age and condition) by reducing the engine’s friction by up to 90 percent.  This has been verified by independent lab testing many times over, as well as corporate testing—and thousands of repeat customers.

It was originally developed and patented in the US Department of Energy labs intended for NASA, and has only recently been introduced for consumer use. However, it’s already received coverage in the Portland Business Journal, KGW-TV, Northwest Cable News Channel, and national trade publications in auto, fleet, marine, agriculture and gun industries.

MotorSilk is a boron-based compound that coats all the surfaces and covalently bonds to the metal (unlike oil treatments that you have to put in with every oil change), so it lasts about 100,000 miles. Several of my friends and co-workers have tried it and they’ve all been surprised how much better mileage they are getting. It’s also an eco-friendly product, non-toxic and biodegradable. You can get all the details at: http://www.greenls.com/ .

OK, ad aside...first step to getting better gas mileage, is to learn how to drive.  Accelerating up to a stop sign would be a good clue you aren't paying attention to what's up ahead

Keep the RPM's down when you don't need them...like early morning traffic.  Leave the heavy foot to the Ram truck drivers, who move from gas (diesel?) pedal to brake pedal.  Hell, I got past 30mpg one time in my tired '86 GT during a 45 minute commute home, so I KNOW it can get done.
