Hello folks, got an 86 GT w/ AC with too many miles on it.  Heater core blew after replacing it 3 years ago. I can't believe it, the one on my 86 Turbo Tbird lasted the 100,000 miles I had it.

Anyway, point is, I can't find the S bend, 7 inch long inlet hose running from the hardline coming off the waterpump, and plugging into the heatercore lines coming out of the firewall.  AdvancedAuto, NAPA, and CarQuest all have cut-to-fit hoses, or even hoses with 3 bends, not two.

Any ideas?  Also, my hose had a restrictor inside it.  Anyone seen that on a hose before?  I assume its factory, but no stangbanger I know has heard of one being installed before.

Now for the update:  No one makes this hose.  Its 7 inches in length, with two 90 degree bends in the same plane, so its "S" in shape.

Go to any autoparts store, they will show you a photo of the hose...but what you get, has bends in two planes.  With cutting...it'll sorta fit, but the bends flatten.

Soooo farrrr...hasn't blown off yet.  So, for those looking thru the archives for this problem...the hose you get, may, repeat, may work after all.  We'll see.
