So I"m looking for a head/cam/intake combo that will get me the most for my 1995 cobra vert. Tha car has 62000 miles, and so far just a MAC cold air intake, MSD(6AL), long tube headers, x-pipe, and bassani exhaust. I'm looking at a 5K budget and have no idea where to start. Anybody got any ideas?

Trick Flow Specialties "street heat" top end kit. Has heads/cam/intake, chain, lifters(?), etc. Add 24lb injectors, Abaco DBX meter, 70mm TB, and you probably still have money for a 3.73 gear. You'll actually be able to get some of your money back by selling your heads and intake. People pay money for that Cobra/GT40 stuff.

In this trim the car should go 108-110mph in the quarter with a good tune and put down over 300rwhp. It'll be a fun car! Any other specific questions?

Holley Systemax top end kit. Comes with systemax heads and intake. lunati .509 .509 cam hardened pushrods etc. claims with 70mil tbody, 190lph fuel pump and intake spacer should put the car around 350hp and 350ft/tq.

Drop by www.flowtechinduction.com, and send Ed an e-mail with your ideas and needs. He can get together an awesome H/C/I/ combo for ya. That is his specialty.

+1 about Ed Curtis at Flowtech Induction. I didn't mention that because I was keeping my response simple. What's funny is, if I get to do the Phase 3 427" article on my car, my little buddy Ed is gonna get a phone call... Now Johnson's gonna take credit for it!
