Dose anyone know what kind of rearend would have come stock on a 1990 5.0 convertable looking at trading my 1969 ford f100 for a gt convert with 130000 miles on it just wondering if i should trade my indestructable ford 9 inch on my truck for whats coming in the mustang

The 5.0 convertible should have an 8.8 rear already in it. That rear end is very durable, and there is a ton of upgrade parts available, as well. Unless you plan on the car being a Super Street Outlaw car or something, the 8.8, with upgrades, will be able to take a lot of abuse.
