During the phase one, you removed your charcoal canister. What did you do for the rubber tubings that run to it? I've trying to pull everything out from my engine bay that I don't need. So if my car can run without it, I would like to know what to do.
thanks

pulled all the rubber off all the way back to the hard line, which is pretty much under the passenger door. Fwiw, this is the gas tank vent, so you don't want to close it off.
Oh yeah, preview pic:

So in other words, the only reason the canister is there is to put the tank fumes there?

stonepony: yeah, the canister catches the fuel fumes. Nancy Pelosi and Al Gore would NOT approve of me removing it..
mynumber1hater: thanks dude. I bought as nice a car as I could afford because I CAN NOT do body work. LOL! The electric fan is 16" and worked REALLY well. I think this is the exact fan: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G4904/
Here's the last time I saw the car... boo hoo!

Thanks. Yeah well they probably wouldn't like the idea of not having a smog pump and running a off road exhaust either...
What size wheels are you running in the back? Right now when I go to the track I throw on my slicks that I haved mounted on some old turbine wheels. I'm about to order some draglites from summit, but not sure of size for the back....
thanks again

mine are 15x8 with a 5.5" backspacing. I've had 275/50-15s and 275/60/15s on them. 15x10 with a 6.5" backspacing are PERFECT for a Fox, but they'll require a little more love with the BFH.

Brian, that's a good lookin' GT. Almost IDENTICAL to the one I bought my senior year of high school! Yeah, I was big pimpin' at the homecoming dance...
Anyway, good luck at HRP. Definitely let me know how it works out!
