Ok so I figured out I can't run this to the solenoid but instead I can run it to the fuse box but the problem is there is no spare with a connection available.  I think i'm better off just putting the stock fan back on and save myself the hassle.  Anyone want to trade a stock fan for an electric fan in the Orlando area let me know....

I just bought a 92 GT the prior owner installed an electric fan but he ran the wiring to the windshield wiper motor.  As you can imagine this shorts one of the two out and i'm in Florida where it rains everyday.  I was thinking I could run it to the solenoid or if anyone knows would it be best for me to run it to a fuse?

Thanks for any input or advice.

dude, just run an external toggle switch to inside the car.......depending on the fan and the amp draw, put the appropriate in line fuse in...its too easy, i just did it with my flex-a-lite elec. fan....
