hey replaced old which was a pain. Installed new, did not get firewall adjuster. pedal has allot of play, engages at bottom. Have been on the ground allot trying to figure out whats wrong any help would be appreciated.

could clutch fork need to be replaced????

No, clutch fork doesn't need replacing unless it's bent, which i doubt. The clutch pedal itself will bend before the clutch fork. Your clutch might be near the end of its life, that could be the problem. Is the clutch old? I believe you can also put the car in first gear, let out the clutch pedal, and then pull up on the pedal to help adjust it. You can try that, too. Aside from a firewall adjuster I think that's all you can do.
