i just acquired this car, its from colorado originally, there is no rust, original paint somewhat burnt, 136,000 miles, its brown in color inside and out, center console and gauges, 5speed, new long block, new holley carb.,water pump, clutch, its all stock top to bottom, nothing is missing or changed. The doors are perfectly hung and they close and latch with the lightest touch. It has the ford aluminum rims. I dont have the money to restore it or modify it. I might stick it in the corner of the garage for safe keeping or market it to someone who can take it to the next level. Any idea on what the valu on a car like might be? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

The 83 GLX 5.0 is special because of the engine. Therefore, without the original engine I don't think the car has a lot of value. Those cars haven't really caught on with mainstream collectors, either. There are plenty of Mustang collectors out there who would like to own such a car so you may want to put it on eBay or something like that. Good luck.
