I bought a 1990 5.0 LX coupe, converted 4cyl to 8cyl, the car has three ground points going from the negative terminal at the battery. The frist is going to the front of the block the second is at the manual transmission, the last is a smaller wire on the frame. Is there any reason the car has so many grounding points, can I get rid of at least one of them.

Thanks,

David.

hi, the grounds to the block and frame you should keep, as for the trany one i do not see a reason for it due to the fact that the trany is bolted to the block that is grounded. hope it helps.
