rattles driving me nuts

I have a 2007 mustang GT. Mods include ford racing bars and struts, steeda ultralight springs and X5 ball joints, 19" parnelli jones wheels with Falken tires. I had also installed the Steeda upper strut mounts but since removed them.
[bold]Bottom line is I have a rattle / clunk when[/bold] I hit washboard type bumps. The Steeda upper mounts made it worse so I replaced them with the Ford Racing mounts. I have checked, tightened everything. And yes I replaced, toqured and used lock tight on the sway bar end links.
I think the noise is coming from the front.
Any thoughts?

I am a technician for ford and what I would do is lay a few 2x4 boards spaced about 3 feet apart, then have someone drive over them slowly while you are standing next to the car and listen and watch in different places for the thump or any movement. drive over them on the left side then on the right side until you can pinpoint which side of the vehicle is causing the noise. Then recheck all the bolts, nuts on the entire front side of the the vehicle. Including the ball joints, struts, engine mounts, trans mounts, steering rack, sway bar mounts, strut mounts, k-member, everything. Also even if you hear it coming from the front but can't find it check everything in the rear, trust me when I say noises can travel to opposite ends of the vehicle. I can tell you some horror stories about that. Still no luck then I would try to find a good friend that might have a set of chassis ears. Or take it to a dealership and have them run your vin for any recalls or tech bulletins for this issue. Even though you have done alot of work to your vehicle if its still under warranty its still covered. By law they have to prove that the part you installed was what directly caused the problem. And in court proving a part DIRECTLY caused the problem is almost impossible unless that installed part was what failed.
