I'm doing a complete 5.0 swap into my 92 notchback and I have the struts from the 89 hatchback but they don't line up with the strut mounts in my 92 notch. Is there a way of getting around that without having to buy new struts?

There shouldn't be an issue with recycling the 89 struts onto your 92. Have you tried swapping over the 89's caster/camber plates, as well?

5.0 spindles are thicker at the strut mount than 4 cylinder spindles. If you're putting 5.0 struts on 4 cyl spindles, you can use spacers, but i'd just swap to the 5.0 spindles. You get 1" bigger brakes that way!!!
BTW, when I say the 5.0 spindles are bigger, that's specifically 87-93 5.0 spindles.
