I bought a 1990 LX coupe the car came with long tube headers, but I'm thinking of going to short headers, I'm running straight pipes with cats and flowmasters. The reason for the change is, I had to do work on the starter and had to fight to make clearence to remove the starter. My question is will I loose horse power or sound quality by going to short headers.
Thanks,
David

horsepower question depends on engine mods.
sound quality question is subjective.

nobody said it wasn't a big deal.
you have to match the headers to the engine combo.
