Has anyone installed a Hose wizard 134a A/C Kit?

I am looking at a Hose Wizard R134a A/C kit for my 88 model GT. My local guys converted it a few years back (with fittings, freon and oil).... and well it has been junk ever since. Another shop suggested that the R134 generates to much pressure and that the system was not designed to handle that kind of pressure. So i am curious if anyone has any experience with this kit?
