I was looking at a 347 stroker kit for my engine and they have a balanced stroker kit, and a unbalanced stroker kit. What's the difference besides the obvious thing of one being balanced and one not being balanced? Does one make more power than the other?

Up at the top of where the posts are, there's a button that says new topic, and that's it.

I would say power wise it is going to be the same unless noted. With the balanced kit i would say you will have less torsional vibrations at higher rpms which will give you longer engine life as your internals aint beating each other around as much. Was there a price differnce? IF there was how much?

The balanced kit was $1,299.95, and the unbalanced kit was $819.95.
