I am looking at buying a 1994 GT 5.0 and currently own a 1990 5.0 coupe are their any differences in the two motors?

Not too many differences between the two, but your '90 should have forged pistons, which is good. However, you can always either drop an erlier Fox short block in the car and have forged pistons as well. The '94s are little heavier than a Fox coupe so the engine's hauling around more heft, which you can definitely feel when you go from a coupe to an SN95. Are you getting rid of the Fox or trading it for the '94?

I am planning on keeping both gonna make the 94 a fun daily driver and the coupe more of an all out weekend hotrod. I wouldn't trade the coupe for the 94 as the coupe is much faster.
My main reason for asking is I have noticed that intake and ignitions systems are different for the two cars. Someone told me this was due to the hood height being lower on the 94 and I would just like to know before I buy the car. The price is right on the 94.

Good plan. I believe the only ignition differences are the relocation of the Spout connector and the ignition module to the passenger side apron. In my opinion, the SN95 Mustangs have a much-improved ride quality, which will come in handy for your daily-driven wishes. There are computer differences, but nothing that can't be tuned. If you add a cam you may have to get the car tuned, but the car will respond to the same modifications as your Fox did. Good luck with the '94.
