Replaced a dead fuel pump on my 89 5.0 car ran great for about 15 miles then when accelerating it would bog down. Replaced fuel filter but still the same problem but after 6-8 miles. Now car will develop the problem in 2-3 miles. Starts fine and idles fine. I can rev it up to 4500-5000 rpm while parked and no problems but once car warms up and I take it out of the driveway it will bog down like it is flooding or starving for gas when fuel peddle is pushed. If I just let it idle after that it works ok. I do not think it is the fuel pump or fllter. What can it be? Or better yet where do I start on diagnois? Fuel pressure regulator???

My ges is either you crimped fuel line or have the hoses crossed up, or mabbie its just clogged did you clean all the dest and dirt off the tank before you removed the old pump, may be dirt in tank.
