My car is producing alot of lifter noise it has a ford racing stage 2 f303 cam and gt-40 heads like i said previously i have never performed any type of high performance work. I need to know if i should start with checking the torque of the rocker arms and if it would be the same as stock. The guy i got the car off of doesnt know if its the stock rocker arms or if they were changed with the rebuild. Also it has after market maf and throttle body but doesnt know the mm how would i go about to measure it. Thanks for any input i get.

mine did the same thing with an E 303 cam and gt 40 heads , retorqued em' ,then checked the clearance between the valve covers and rockers then my tuner told me it was normal . 60,000 miles later still noisey , no problems.

Thanks for the input. Did your tuner say anything about it just being the combination you used? I just get irrated by the sound it takes away from the tone of the car.

I know the feeling it makes a nice "clicking " sound up front doesnt it . He said aftermarket rockers with a high lift cam is what makes all the noise. But on a good note on my stock shortblock with afr 165 heads an e cam and vortech intake I make 300 rwhp and 300 rwtq , so I can live with "the noise".
