Hey guys... I recently got a killer deal on a 351c and a 351m. I have an 86 Mercury Capri that I would like to put one of them into.... but I want to change it the engines to EFI? Is there anyone out there that could help me with my search to find everything I may need.
I'm also wondering what if there would be anything speacial I would have to buy to put maybe a 6 speed trans on it too. Any help would be great. Thanks

The M(odified) engines had a big block bellhousing pattern, so you'll need a 460 style bellhousing. Also, they are a raised deck block, so its almost like putting in a 351W--in other words, you may need a raised hood scoop, and I'm not sure one is made for the Capri. The cleveland could make your life easier.
There was once adaptors to put factory EFI on a cleveland, but since those long runners run out of breath after 4500RPM..why bother putting one on a cleveland not stroked out? You could check into the megasquirt system for a computer, and then just use a single plane intake, drilling for injectors.
