truck motors in mustangs

hi i have a  qustion can you put a ford f-150 motor(1992) in 5.0 mustangs??? thanks

you mean a 351? or a regular 5.0 fi, not the HO.

Yes. The truck motor has the same E7TE heads as the mustang had so you won't have to swap those. All you'll have to do is swap the oil pickup and oil pan from the mustang 302, swap to the H.O. cam with the roller lifters and the intake. That should about cover it. THe only real difference is in the bottom end of the engine where the mustang H.O. 5.0L had forged pistons from 87 to 92, i think, and the trucks did not have the forged slugs.
