I have a 1985 5.0 GT 4barrel it has 72K miles on it and I was wondering if I should remove the Cats or not. Will it cut HP or kill the OZONE or what?

when you say replacement are u talking about replacing the cats? if so check out catco or dynomax. if you are going to get rid of them i would suggest an H pipe from summit or something. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN CATS U ABSOLUTELY CANNOT USE LEADED GAS AT ALL FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME AS IT WILL STICK TO THE HONEYCOMB MATERIAL OF THE CAT AND RENDER IT USELESS IN BURNING ANY LEFT OVER GAS!!!
