I own a 2003 Mustang GT 4.6L V8 it's all stock right now but in the next couple weeks I'm looking to add and exhaust and intake to it. So what is the best kind of exhaust and intake for my car? Thanks guys I know you know what you're talking about. Chris

as far as exhaust i would suggest a flowmaster cat-back until your warranty runs out . i have a 90 GT and i run a trickflow intake i would suggest to you from a pocket book stand point to keep mods that are warranty friendly or bolt ons that you can easily replace in case you need to bring your in for warranty repairs. other wise if your not too worried about warranty repairs i would suggest you start with cold air induction , MAF , and larger throttle body, of course then youll need a better intake and larger fuel injectors . exhaust wise i run MAC full length headers offroad H pipe and dual chamber flowmasters. youll need a "check engine" light eliminator for your car you can also bypass your smog pump by using a shorter belt if your car is equipped with one I'm not too familiar with the mod motors. Anyways i hope this helps

Good luck

I have a '01 GT with an automatic and have run a best of 12.01@117 mph in the Arizona heat and here's a list of the mods I have if it'll help you. MAC cold air, MAC cat-back, MAC off-road Prochamber, JBA shorties, 4.10 gears (you might want 3.73s if you have a 5 speed), Steeda timing adjuster(set at 10 degrees with the nitrous-14 degrees without the nitrous), underdrive pullies, Nitto 555R 315/35/17drag radials(BFGs work just as well), tubular subframe connectors, tubular upper n lower control arms, NX wet nitrous kit with 100 horse jets(I use an RPM switch that turns the nitrous on at 2500 RPM and off at 6000 RPM after blowing my plastic intake up from turning the juice on at too low an RPM).  I know some people running 125 horse jets with a larger fuel pump but I personally don't trust the stock pistons with more than 100.  I also have an aftermarket convertor with about 2800 stall since I smoked the stock one with the nitrous. You can try a larger mass air meter but a larger throttle body won't make any more power with these mods. Anything else I can't say for sure yet as I haven't tried any other mods on this car.
