my floorpan has cracked severely. I bought a set of subframes from LRS. they were cheap ($50.00). I planned on installing them but now that i have the carpet out and can really see the damage, its pretty bad. Has anybody used these and are they comparable to all the other ones? I saw on a website which i cant find now, a brace for 83-86 floorpan, it braced the back to seat bolts. Anybody know where i can get one? Anybody know of any other ways to support?

hello: the 1987 to 93 special vehicle service mustangs , yes the police highway patrol mustang , had seat reinforcment brackets between the floorboard and the seat tracks, any place that sells police mustang replacement service parts should have these brackets, some Ford Dealers have them ,and some Dealers dont , i have them as well as MEIR RACING sub frame conectors with a cross brace that bolts to the botom of the seat bolts under the car, THEY BOLT IN, but i also had them welded to the Frame for Safety as well ,,,,,,,,,,
Hope This Helps you,,,,,,
