I would like some help. I have a buddy that his 94 Mustang GT will not go over 3000 rpms. This is done to it.

75mm Throttle body, Headers, Shrot throw shifter, JET Chip, all of this was done before he bought it.

What we did is, Full tune up, (spark plus. wires. fuel filter. oil and filter) New Radiator, New fuel pump 255 lph, Off road X pipe, SLP loud mouth cat back, Cold air.

Tonight we put my 94 Mustang GT computer into it and the Check Engine light did not come on. Its all ways on when he drives with his computer. So could it be in the (limp home mode) What can we do to fix that?

Thanks for all your help.       Kevin

Is the Check Engine light on with his computer in the car?

I know the computers on the 94-95 Mustangs are unique and a bit of a problem someitmes. It could be a limp mode issue, there could be a sensor bad that's tripping the problem.

You could throw all sorts of parts at this issue, my best advice would be to take it to a good shop and have the properly diagnose the problem.

Hmmm, my friend had this problem with his 5.0.  I checked the voltage at the pump and it was only getting like 10 volts running.  we changed the fuel pump relay and it fixed it.  Fuel starvation could be the culprit, but you said its got a new fuel pump and injectors, so I'm assuming that you just throw a switch to activate the fuel circuit.
