To run in NHRA's stock class (G/FIA 13.15 index) I cannot change the intake, throttle boddy, mas meter, etc. in my 1990 GT Mustang but the injectors can be changed. My questions:
how big can I go with fuel injectors without causing problems because the rest of the intake system is not changing?
I am also changing the fuel pump to a 155lph. Will I need a fuel regulator?
Do I need a custom chip to get max performance?
Transmission upgrade? AODE? C4? Suggestions?
Futre plans are for larger (3.73) rear gears, real headers, pulleys, and the removal of a/c and other weighty items.
All help suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

Just to let you know,by not being able to change the MAF you can not change injectors. I'd start with headers (long or short equal length)X pipe, for favorite muffler. Then I'd go cold air intake and get a K&N in the fender. You might be able to put 1.7 ratio roller rockers to give you more lift with the stock cam. If this is only a track car them I'd gear it so you cross the finish line at your max RPM.
