I have a 89 gt and the only mods area bbk shorty headers, matching h-pipe and an amercian thunder exuast from flowmaster. also msd distributer and coil and plug wires. Also a bbk fenderwell cold air induction kit.i was wondering if i would have to do anything to the engine to run a supercharger with 5-6psi,without affecting affecting the start it up and go daily drivability. What superchargers do you reccomend, thanks in advance

i dont believe so you should talk to the maufacturer of you choice, and they will let you know about any requirments, but at a low psi i believe you can just bolt one on and go. hope this helps but, every blower is a little different and each may have slightly different requirements.

Go with the Procharger P1-SC, it's a bit more than most, but 1. it is intercooled, and 2. It will grow with you, start out at 8 *** which is fine on a stock engine, and later on when you do upgrades on the engine, such as heads, cam, intake, injectors, re-build, whatever, you can change the pulley and go up on boost, I believe up to 25 *** Plus did I mention it's self contained, change the oil in it, when you change the oil in your car, no oil pan to tap etc.
