I was expecting live coverage of the results from Dyno Day. At the end of the day, there were only 5 results all from one shop.  The shop I went to had submitted their results, but they have not been posted to the web.

 I was hoping to see my car on there with its 556HP and 639ftlb sheet.

What happened? Is this going to be an annual event?

I was expecting the same thing, not sure whats going on, but I assume there are alot of results to post and it may take a few days to log all of them.

Looks like this Dyno-Day didn't work out so well. I haven't seen mine show up either, or read a reason why.  

Well...I'm honestly stumped by the lack of communication by the 5.0 Mustang Mag. dyno day coordinator, everyone that attended was expecting LIVE coverage, I can understand that sometimes problems can arise...although many people are wondering what happened, and no mention of anything has been made.

YA I THINK THE DYNO WAS A GREAT IDEA, BUT WHERE THE *** ARE ALL THE CARS AND INFO FROM THE DYNO DAY??? I THINKS THAT WAS THE COOLEST PART ABOUT IT, YOU KNOW?? IT NICE TO SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE LURKING IN THE GARAGE THAT THEY BUILT!! WISH THEY'D GET ALL THESE CAR POSTED!!!!  

they won't be posting the cars as they were dyno'd. i spoke with the organizers and he said they tried to do the live coverage on the web site and it didn't work out. only two sites got their data posted (luckily i was in that group). those two sites will prolly be the only two posted because as of the tuesday after the competition, only 30% of the shops had submitted their results. he told me he was sending out reminders to the other 70% of shops to submit their data and that hopefully by this last friday they would have done so, so that judging could begin this week on monday.

from here, it will prolly only be the winners posted.

p.s. i was told that judging may be completed this week and winners could be notified as early as today (wednesday). but as we've seen, things don't always go as planned.

also keep in mind these folks are getting ready for SEMA and the dates for this competition may be pushed back.

I don't believe them that only two shops posted data during the dyno day.  I know for sure that the shop I was at, sent 5.0 the data during the day.  I believe that they had technical problems. 

Now why didn't they change the website to say that they are having problems?  Why haven't they even come on here to explain what happened?  Do they even care?  It only takes a few minutes to change the web site from reading "here are today's results" to "We had problems".

It would be nice to hear their story.

Hey Craig...Well what I heard is the email address that all the shops were to use was wrong. So they have all been notified with the correct one and sometime next week we should see them posted. Cross your fingers!!!!  

Funny , the Canadians were the only ones that got it right.

OK now....that's not even funny. Well, ok I guess it is.

I can't believe how long it's taking for this to get fixed......Oh well.

the other shop that got posted - pdq performance - is actually in orlando... i am not sure how only two shops got it right and the rest didn't.

the canadian shop results were posted that sunday. the orlando shop results were posted on monday. then nothing.

To Craig429 and everyone else looking for more out of our Dyno Day coverage.

I was on the computer all day Saturday, and the only shop I received info from was Tecmotion in Calgary. I made sure to check all the spam filters and other blockers that could keep stuff from coming in, but they were all clean. I've heard from a few people that they saw their shops submitting info, and did some more digging and still couldn't find anything.

I'm sorry you guys didn't see your runs on the site, but if I didn't receive the info from your shop there was nothing I could do. If I had received info and pictures as we requested, then you would've been in the live coverage on the website.

The info from Tecmotion (minus two or three runs that took place outside East Coast time we were running the event by) were posted Saturday as they came in. The stuff form PDQ was posted Monday after I received that morning, beyond that nothing else came in. I did receive some info from Realspeed late in the week, but am still waiting to get pictures of the cars form them so I can post the info from their runs.

Someone made a post earlier about an email address being wrong, that wasn't on the 5.0 end of things, we sent emails out to all the shops with the correct email to send their info to so I could post it to the 5.0 website on Dyno Day.

Well, I was told by someone from 5.0 that the email address was wrong that most of the shops had. Whatever....

 But anyway I think that's all we want to know is what will or can be done to get all the results posted so we can know how it all ended up.

 I am the founder of a local Mustang club in Oregon and had to convince a couple of our members to do this that really couldn't afford it. They enjoyed it but like myself they are disappointed with the way this has turned out. It may not be so easy to get anyone to do this again next year...
