Can CFI handle displacement change ?

My '84 Tbird has 200k original miles on its 5.0L and it is time to think about rebuilding it.  I would like to increase the displacement by stroking the 302 to around 330.  Converting to SEFI is cost-prohibitive (ECU, wiring harness, intake, MAF, TB, etc.).  So I am stuck with the stock CFI (throttle body injection system).

Can CFI handle an increase in engine displacement?  Since there's no MAF, the ECU must calculate air flow using a displacement of 302 cubic inches. What would happen if the displacement were to increase?  Would it run lean?  Would I have to reprogram the ECU (probably not possible for CFI)?  Or would the ECU use O2 sensor data to increase injector duty cycle time?  If so, could the injectors provide required fuel delivery?  Even if so, what about open-loop operation?

Any help is appreciated !!
