ok i have a 1997 mustang gt i want to boost it or put nos in it but been hearing lots of crap on the 4.6 thats in it the lower half is all stock and people are telling me it will hold 12lbs of boost and a 150shot of nos is this true dont want to blow my motor so i would really like to know if this is true i dont think it is but would still like to know  

for nitrous or alot of boost i would put in forged pistons the stock cast ones wil not take alot of abuse. but my preferance would be to boost it. The power is always there and you don't have to worry about bottle pressure, purging, or running out. i wouldn't push more than 9lbs of boost or over a 100 shot of spray though,  because those first generation mod motors cannot really handle it. good luck,
