I have a 1990 5.0 with minor mods done. Rebuilt engine 25,000 miles ago, I just had it rebuilt with the next step up cam, off road h-pipe with 40 series flowmasters,4:10 rear end, and I just installed a stage 2 performance AOD. My problem is that when my car gets warm after a while of driving (the temp gage doesn't go up), I lose power if I get into it so bad that it just bogs when the motor gets to about 3,000 rpm. The car has 212,000 miles on it and it has the original MAF sensor and injectors. I don't know alot about 5.0's but I'm trying to learn so any help to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My first guess without experencing it myself would be a dirty airflow meter. this would cause a lean condition which would make it very lazy. remove the two tamper proof torx screws from the sensor and look at the two hot wires on the sensor. if you see any amount of darkness on it, it's dirty. spray carb cleaner, or there is even new air meter cleaner out, on it, and VERY gently wipe it with a Q-tip. reinstall, and give it a try.
