i just bought a 93 lx 5.0 mustang without a t5 trans in it i just put a new clutch fly wheel presure plate fork and bellhousing and starter in it havent got trany yet the prob im having is im getting no fuelpump and no the motor is not cranking at all what needs to be jumped out to start the car or does the trany have to be in and all the sensores pluged up to start

to crank the engine.. the clutch pedal has to be depressed to the floor to operate the clutch interlock switch...

there may also be a difference between manual transmission starters and automatic transmission starters...  the difference is how far the starter pinion sticks into the bell housing..

look carefully at the difference from this slightly earlier starters..

the top one is for a automatic
the bottom one is for stick shift .

just curious... does it crank when you jump the S terminal on the solenoid to positive???

that bypasses the ignition and clutch to crank the engine...

if not....    warning.. please be sure that the fan blade is not going to IMPACT the fan shroud...

without the transmission in place... the engine can sit at ODD Angles..

Check the trunk for an inertia switch. That shuts the fuel pump off. If your Mustang is rearended. Sometime when they tow them the drivers pop the switch. Just reset the switch....
